With the morning sun shattered in the horizon, the city of Jaisalmer rises like a mirage from the barren Thar desert of Rajasthan. Walking through the narrow cobbled streets, with its golden sandstoned houses and tiny streets, Jaisalmer reflects the historic wings of the city. The yellow facades with their many ornaments stand as historical symbols of a city that still remain intact.
The first thing you notice in Jaisalmer is the yellow sandstone houses.
The elongated and longtailed shadows reflect on the variegated street of stones.
